The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) is excited to sponsor CareerEco's Discover Nursing School Virtual Fair on Thursday, November 5, 2026 from 10am to 6pm. Register to attend this free event!
The fair provides a unique opportunity to connect with multiple nursing schools on the same day to find the right program for you. Speak with deans, faculty, admissions teams, and current students to find answers to your questions and make personal connections with programs of interest. You will also be able to:
• Learn about different nursing programs and degree types
• Gain insider insight on the application and admissions processes
• Connect with schools and stay in touch after the event
The AACN booth will be staffed from 11am to 2pm. They encourage everyone to join them at 11am for their Exploring Nursing Programs – Where to Begin? presentation. During this event, admissions representatives will share their tips on what students should look for when exploring nursing schools.

The American Physician Scientists Association (APSA) in collaboration with the National Alliance of Research Associates Programs (NARAP) is sponsoring an online presentation: MD-DO/PhD An Option to Consider on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at 8pm.
APSA (American Physician Scientists Association) is an organization of students in combined clinical health professions and PhD programs across bench and social sciences. APSA members will describe decisions making for this option, preparation and working in these programs, benefits / challenges and career prospects. They will also offer opportunities for mentorship and resources.
NARAP (The National Alliance of Research Associates Programs) brings pre-health professions students into emergency departments at affiliate hospitals as data collectors for clinical research.

Join AACOM on Wednesday, October 7 at 7:00pm for this informative webinar on understanding the role of MCAT scores in medical school admissions and helpful resources to prepare you for the test. Topics will also include MCAT score breakdown and considerations for retaking the MCAT.
In recent years, the U.S Supreme Court has issued several landmark decisions that directly or indirectly impact health care and medical research. It has ruled on issues of religious and conscience objections to providing or receiving treatment, the right to abortion and gender-affirming care, and the ability of the executive to cut off research and AIDS funding. The Court has also invoked controversial legal theories and doctrines, such as originalism, the unitary executive theory, the major questions doctrine, the end to deferential review of agency interpretations, and the shadow docket.
In this program on October 7, 2026 from 6:15pm to 7:30pm, prominent bioethicists and legal scholars will offer brief comments on the impact of recent Supreme Court decisions on bioethics, and then engage in a moderated discussion of the topic.
