The Rensselaer School of Science invites students and faculty to participate in its Science Research Photo Contest. Submit original photos that demonstrate the innovative and leading-edge research activities currently being conducted in the School of Science.
Theme: Global Challenge-Linked Research
Entries will be divided into categories representing the five Science Themes:
- Data Analytics and Predictive Modeling
- Water, Energy, Resilience, and Sustainability
- Computational Science, Security, and Simulation
- Biomedical Science and Applications
- Materials at the Nanoscale: MGI@RPI
HOW TO ENTER: Entries must be submitted by email to thibaa2@rpi.edu and in the following format:
- 1MB or larger:
- In .jpg, .png, or .tiff format
- Include your name, RPI affiliation, and a title and brief explanation of what is in the image/photo. Up to 3 entries may be submitted per participant.
Submission Deadline: Friday, March 6, 2015. Winners will be announced during Grand Marshal Week.
Prize: The grand-prize winner will receive an iPad and be featured in School of Science materials.
Contest Rules: Entries must be your original work and should avoid photos of people.
