The goal of the Earth and Environmental Sciences Department is to have transformative impact in the fields of geoscience education and research by: focusing research endeavors on environmentally impactful areas; creating new and innovative classroom modules that provide students with real-world experiences; and enhancing and expanding the diversity of our undergraduate and graduate student bodies and faculty.
