The School of Science Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SoS SURP) is an exclusive opportunity designed for students in the School of Science.
This program offers undergraduates the opportunity to become immersed in a research topic full-time for a ten-week period during the summer. This program is open to all undergraduates with majors in the School of Science, but students who are required to participate in the Arch summer are not eligible to apply for that summer (but may apply for other summers – i.e. a student is typically eligible for the summers after the 1st year and 3rd year of study). SoS SURP Awardees receive a $4,000 stipend.
Application to the program requires an abstract, research proposal, letter of recommendation and copy of your unofficial transcript from SIS. More information and the application submission form can be found at the link below.
Completed applications must be submitted no later than 5:00p.m., March 22, 2019; late proposals will not be accepted. All eligible applications will be competitively reviewed by a panel.
