Congratulations to Professor Vincent Meunier, Department Head and Gail and Jeffrey L. Kodosky ‘70 Chair, for his election as 2019 Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in the area of Physics. Election as a Fellow honors members whose efforts on behalf of the advancement of science or its applications in service to society have distinguished them among their peers and colleagues. 
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute physicist Vincent Meunier has been appointed to an International Francqui Professor position, supporting a five-month research stay with the Université de Namur in Belgium. The International Francqui Professor Chair is a recognition of the global impact of Meunier’s research.
