A community of women who seek to support each other through mentoring, workshops, and community building events.

Women in Physics was started to give a voice to underrepresented groups in physics. Working to support women, people of color, and members of the LGBTQ community pursuing careers in science and technology, WiP does outreach educating students about imposter syndrome and building confidence in the lab and the classroom. On campus, WiP holds bi-weekly meetings on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. in Jonsson Rowland Science Center (J-Rowl) room 1C13 where members discuss professional development, intersectional feminism, and physics. Women in Physics is funded through the American Physical Society.
